Classical

Eclectic / Relaxed
Mix and match. Most homeschoolers are here. Yarrow's default setting.
Montessori
Hands-on materials, uninterrupted work cycles, child-led independence.
Traditional / Textbook
Structured grade-level curriculum. Easiest on-ramp for new homeschoolers.
Unit Studies
Thematic, cross-subject blocks. One topic, many angles. Great for mixed ages.
Unschooling
