Option 1 — Home Education Program: The most common and independent path. File a notice with your county superintendent annually and provide an annual evaluation of your student's progress.

Option 2 — Private school enrollment: Enroll under a private school that serves homeschool families. The school handles regulatory requirements; you teach at home.

Option 3 — Virtual school: Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is a free, public virtual school. Students can take individual courses or a full load. This is not independent homeschooling — the school sets curriculum and provides teachers.

Option 4 — Certified tutor: Employ a Florida-certified teacher to provide instruction. Less commonly used but a valid legal path.
