File a homeschool affidavit with your county school superintendent within 30 days of beginning. This is a one-time filing — you do not re-file each year unless something changes.

Required subjects

Arizona requires instruction in reading, grammar, math, social studies, and science. How you teach these and what curriculum you use is entirely up to you.

Funding

Arizona has one of the most robust school choice programs in the country. The Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program provides funding that can be used for homeschool curriculum, tutoring, and other educational expenses.
